From Addis, with Love: The Nostalgia & Art of Stamps
The Ethiopian Postal Service began operations in 1894 in Harar. Over its 130-year journey, it has not only issued a variety of stamps but also provided opportunities for Ethiopian artists to contribute to stamp design.
These stamps have documented and celebrated the nation's social, economic, and political transformations across different eras.
Our newest exhibition showcases various stamp collections, including a collection donated by Ms. Eleonora Salvatore Carbonaro, and tells the story behind them.
